Was on vacation and decided to go here for lunch. I had a lady name Johnna as my server. Nice looking girl but had no idea what she was doing. Maybe she was new but one of the worst service I've ever had. Food was pretty decent my burger was over cooked though.

Amazing food. The atmosphere is nice and the staff was very friendly. I go here at least once a week and have never been disappointed.

If you're looking for a place to grab a quick bite to eat, this is it. The restaurant is small, but it has a cozy feel. When you're seated you will be brought garlic toast and a garlicy oil dipping sauce; I am warning you now...proceed with caution when it comes to this bread because after one bite and you will be hooked!!! :) Almost every time we go to Ceno, I get the seafood asparagus which is loaded with crab meat, shrimp, scallops, asparagus, etc. I have never finished the entire portion, there is always enough left over for lunch the next day. The grilled calamari appetizer is out of this world! I was skeptical at first, but the broth/sauce is dangerously delicious. The food is not only delicious, but it's priced right. We highly recommend Ceno!!

We have ordered here through GrubCab a couple times. The food is good but the prices are ridiculous! My daughter likes Caesar salad with shrimp - they charge $5 for three shrimp on an already over-priced salad! We have stopped ordering from them and have no plans to dine there due to the expense.

I went here because a friend told us about it. A lil small for my taste and the food wss the same. I had calamari which was the highlight of the meal. Even my 3 year old liked it! But the main course lacked seasoning especially garlic for the dishes we ate. Also, didn't know if it was Italian cuisine or Greek cuisine. Alot of feta on the menu so I'm assuming it was both... I do recommend this place but not as a first option... The place is new and it showed in the service.. But she tried... I went here because a friend told us about it. Has the best french fries in Cape Coral! They have a large menu with a variety of different options to choose from. I had learned about this place from a family member who works nearby and this place was very close to my old home. You can even get delivery using Grub Cab!

By far the worst meal I've had. The fried calamari tasted like someone dumped the salt shaker in it. Don't the cooks taste the food before it is sent out? Also the Chicken Brunello pasta dish tasted like acid tomatoes and they used canned mushrooms. Definately never going back!!!!

Excellent food and service with a friendly wait staff. Dining for lunch or dinner is always an enjoyable experience. Their salads are freshly prepared and the raspberry dressing with the candied walnuts is amazing.

Nice place to eat or just have a drink. Great food & service! My family & friends support locally owned businesses!

Just had dinner here with my family and it was delicious! For starters we had the crab stuffed portobello mushroom, which was huge and filled with seafood, very good! I had a side caesar and you could tell the dressing was homemade, really tasty. Two people split the seafood risotto (it was a special and they raved about it), and I had the make your own pasta. I used penne mixed with rose sauce, broccoli, and asparagus. The portions are very large, you definitely get your money's worth. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. All our food came out immediately and was steaming, no sitting under heat lamps here! The owner came out and greeted us and asked us how everything was. I am so happy to find a place around here that makes great Italian food and has a friendly staff. I will definitely recommend and return!

Ventured here with my friends at the recommendation of ones co-workers. I would have never gone here if not for her as I do not visit this side of town. Very small, cramped, and our waitress was less than something to write home about. She started out friendly enough but turned sour rather quickly. I may have been more understanding of her crap attitude if they had been busy or bigger but multiple servers and less than 10 tables rule those out. The food took almost an hour to arrive (there were 6 people and only 4 meals ordered), poorly presented, and the quality of the food was only ok. I'm not a huge Olive Garden fan but I'd say it wasn't any better than theirs. Needless to say, I probably won't go back since the food was only ok and the server was less than friendly. Sad, because I love good Italian food.

I've eaten here 5 times. Three times I enjoyed really great food, two times very mediocre. Just ordered a take out cheesesteak sandwich which I would have sent back if I had been dining in. It was way over baked, dried out steak, peppers and bread, with no seasoning on the steak (had to douse it in A-1 when I got it home), no sautéed onions and the fries were terribly overcooked. The cheese had practically disintegrated. This meal should never have left the kitchen. So disappointed.

Great little place. Great service I get the Carbonara it's as good or better than I've had anywhere! I like this place and it's really close to the house but it's one of those places that when you get the bill it's like, how did that happen? I think I'd like it a lot more if if was $3 less a plate and alcohol wasn't so $$ It is in a strip mall ....it's not like it's on the water

Great dinner. The Pasta e Fagioli was perfect. Great specials. Sea Mediterranean Alfredo special was very good. Very friendly Bar and Wait staff. Great service!

The food here is amazing! I love garlic, and this place gives you garlic! I'm from Chicago, and this is the closest food I can find that reminds me of home. The staff is very friendly, the food is to die for, and it is conveniently located near my house. Another thing that is interesting is that they don't have a freezer, so ALL of their food is fresh!

Outstanding eats give this strip mall spot a four star review. Small but fine in the ways that matter. You will be amazed at the sheer joy of reading a menu that has you prioritizing you menu choices because a lot of the home prepared Greek and Med dishes are so unusual in this corner of the woods. We ordered an exceptional lunch and can recommend the food without reluctance. The wine is very limited and bears no identity to the menu. Again-- you will want to eat the entire menu-- the food is that good!!! It could easily be the best Med food in the area. Why the name? Get some Greek wine or at least a few more in the selection.

mobile review Almost hate to tell people how good Ceno is because the food is that delicious! Afraid it might get so crowded we won't get a table. The place is small and homey. George the Owner/Chef prepares each order. You can tell he has pride in what he prepares and loves what he is doing just by the happy sounds coming from the kitchen. Then when the food arrives at the table, your first thought is wow! The aromas are amazing. You want to dig right into giant bowls of in my case pasta, tender chicken, flavorful sausage sliced on the bias, button mushrooms, tiny tomatoes that burst in your mouth. Onions, peppers and so much more covered in a sweet yet slightly spicy sauce, yummmmy! The other half got what I think was called "Mama's Pasta" this was shrimp, chicken and ziti covered in a delicious cream sauce. He wouldn't share. He also got the grilled calamari that he said brought him back to his Nonni's kitchen. Based on that dish alone before that main course arrived he was returning to CENO. We got desert. Great, creamy Creme Brûlée with crunchy top. Nina was an awesome server. George also stopped by table twice to say hello and see how we were enjoying our meal. Check this place out!

No matter what you order on this menu it's going to be good. Just what Cape Coral needs a restaurant owner that actually cares and is proud as he should be. Everybody I've ever sent here come back please as me.

Excellent food, friendly service, it is a mix of Italian and Greek food. Since discovering this neat little place we have become regulars. I love the moussaka with Greek potatoes. The only downside is the place is small. I hope the snowbirds never discover this place and for that reason I had not posted a review.

Wow!!! My son told me a few friends said this was good but holy cow! We hit this place on a busy Saturday night and got right in. I don't think that situation is going to last long when the word gets out. All three of us had different meals and they were all to die for. The portions were almost too big and the prices were terrific considering the quality of the food. Our waitress got a fat tip from us which doesn't happen often. My husband has a cheese allergy so eating out is a challenge. They often "forget" that the sauce has cheese in it or the meatballs have cheese in them and he is sick all night. These folks not only got the food right but our waitress even had bread made up special for my husband without cheese. Eat here before the word gets out. This is a small place with limited seating. They are going to need a bigger place really soon......

So this was my first time here at Ceno's. I've heard a lot of nice things about it and read a lot of nice things and finally I got to try it for myself. My husband and I both went. Now the place is not fancy, but it is quaint. We were greeted at the door and seated. The waitress was very nice and quick to take our drink orders. I like that the menu had a great selection but not so overwhelming and they also had a specials of the day menu. The waitress was very well-informed on the menu items and let us know the soups too. She then brought out this FANTASTIC homemade bread with this garlicky sauce that was out of this world! I haven't eaten bread in sooo long, like I did tonight. We ordered the Mussels in white sauce for an appetizer. We both loved them, also Wonderful! I had a bowl of the Lentil and Sausage soup and my husband had the Italian Wedding Soup. Mine is a little on the spicy side which I like, his was not. They were both great. For our entree, I had one of today specials which was the Baseball Sirloin, it was a thick 8oz sirloin steak cooked the way you like. You had two choices in how you wanted it. I took the Gorgonzola cheese with spinach...YUM and Greek cut Potatoes cooked crisp. It was just delectable. My husband had the Chicken Parmesan. I tasted a bite and I tell you the bread crumb seasoning on that huge chicken patty was Just WOW! You didn't even need the sauce. Again, both of us just loved both our dinners also. Needless to say, We will be returning for more, I would like to try the Chicken Franchise next and I want to try to leave room for those wonderful looking deserts.

Went with friends to celebrate a retirement. Melissa knew her stuff and offered great suggestions. Food was excellent. Both Chef Victor and the owner came out to visit-a nice touch. We will return for another meal.

A great little gem in SW Cape Coral. The the menu is very good with wonderful specials. It is a bit of a small venue, so packed at prime dinner time - especial during season. Enjoy!

Had a Gyro and fries for dinner that was delicious. For an appetizer, try the roasted artichoke, it is out of this world! Also tried the chicken Marsala , fresh and very tender, mushroom sauce was perfect. Great service, everyone was very friendly. A nice little place in he SW Cape.

Greeted by friendly staff. The girl that served us at the bar was excellent (look for the girl with a tattoo on her right elbow). Food was so so, not terrible, not great. Calamari wasn't crispy, moussaka was not even close to authentic Greek. Plenty of room for improvement.

The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The pasta is delicious. The toast/bread they supplied was GREAT! Although very oily. The meals came out very quickly, no need to wait long. Generally delicious.

Based on all the rave reviews of Ceno Grille, we were so looking forward to trying it out. We live in Cape Coral and like to support small local restaurants whenever possible. But our meal was just perplexing. My husband ordered the Veal Masala and it was not good at all. Instead of the delicate veal being pan-fried and served with the mushrooms and masala sauce with the linguini on the side, everything was all jumbled up together on the plate. It was so hot that the scant veal had boiled and curled up in the sauce which was runny with undrained liquid from the linguini. He ate it because he was very hungry, but he said it was terrible. I ordered the Moussaka and it was good, although the eggplant was scarce. I subbed a small Greek salad in for the potatoes and I have to say I was very disappointed with the salad. There were 2 cherry tomatoes, 2 thin slices of green pepper and 2 thin rounds of cucumber. The rest was packaged romaine with a few kalamata olives & a bit of feta cheese all drowned in a balsamic type dressing. That is not a Greek salad. Before publishing this review, I sent an email to the owner/chef because I don't like to write a negative review for a business until I've given the owner a chance to respond. Unfortunately, George couldn't even be bothered to respond. We won't be back and I've told all my friends to not bother giving Ceno Grille a chance. There are countless good Italian restaurants in Cape Coral and Fort Myers.

My food was good. I had chicken with a side of pasta which was good. The fresh mozzarella appetizer was small which was my only disappointment. You can tell by the decor that this place was an old Quizno's store. Other than that, you will have a good dinner here!

3.5 stars....Nice people....portions....big....food good not great. I will go back just because the food is unique....in that there are things on the menu I just can't get around here....so while it may not WOW me, I will still go back.....if that makes any sense to the Yelp world. Had the Carbonara....a bit too rich....too much cream maybe, wife had the seafood pasta.....A HUGE plate with fresh seafood...and a lot of it. Want to try the domades next....and the grilled artichokes. Will update when I go back.

Lovely bar and grille with outstanding food and wine list. A great spot to meet up with the girls and have a few glasses of wine and share a few apps. Super friendly staff who are more than happy to help you but not bug you. A perfect balance. Did I mention the food was amazing?? Because it is really delicious and they don't scrimp. Great atmosphere, lovely decor, comfortable and the food and wine top notch. Add to that, adorable staff and this group of women will be returning!

I ordered through GrubCab.com and the meal was delivered very quickly (it was ordered around 8:30 on a Tuesday night.) By far the best restaurant from their selection. We ordered the Ravioli Rosa, Baked Ziti, Fried Mozzerella, and Penne Vodka with Chicken. Everything was excellent. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The sauces were the best part. Each had it's own distinct flavor. Obviously not from a can like most of the other italian restaurants in the area. I cannot comment on the physical location, but our take-out experience was great!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Greek Cuisine

Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.

Today, you can find hundreds of restaurants offering authentic Greek food or popularly termed as Mediterranean cuisine in New York city alone. People wait in line to taste the exotic Greek dishes like saganaki, taramasalata, souvlaki, loukoumades, spanakopita, moussaka, and many more. One thing which most people like about these authentic Greek dishes is abundant use of lemon juice, olive oil, fresh rosemary and sea salt. A smart mix of few ingredients can virtually take you on the pebble streets of beautiful city of Greece.

For those who don't have time to enjoy fine dining should try tasting the famous souvlaki with pita which is type of meat dish, also a trademark Greek fast food. For those who are vegetarian, or vegan can try different versions of Greek Salad. So, if you wish to enjoy a hearty yet healthy meal that tastes divine then try dining at the best Greek restaurant in your city. Greek cuisine not only tastes good but also help maintain your body in a natural way through healthy diet.
